Prototype Sports Car

History:
In August 2021 I jokingly set a goal with a friend that I could design a car by the end of 12th grade. Months later, I'd gotten infinitely closer to that goal than I ever could have imagined. While managing my college hunt, maintaining my grades, and keeping up with my girlfriend, I used this project to do something I was interested in and apply knowledge I'd read about and learned in vocational school.

Chassis:
Instead of moving to modeling a chassis for the two-seater, I spent the early summer of 2022 modeling this FSAE-style chassis, learning how to use weldments and simulate loads using Solidworks' built-in FEA.
